What you'll do:
  • Operate heavy equipment across all functions of the sewer crew — mainline, laterals, dirt moving, and work in congested areas.
  • Interpret grade stakes and execute to grade.
  • Inspect, maintain, and care for assigned equipment.
  • Coordinate with your crew and management, plan ahead, and stay aware of the full scope of the task.
  • Organize project details, locates, and performance objectives.
  • Recognize, communicate, and eliminate hazards in line with our Company Safety Program.
  • Communicate discrepancies promptly and take on other tasks as needed.
What you bring:
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to job sites throughout Waterloo Region (some travel in Southern Ontario).
  • Reliable, consistent attendance and willingness to work regular overtime.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction and work cooperatively.
  • Physical strength and endurance to perform all duties safely.
  • A safety-first mindset.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, with overtime and some weekend availability.
  • 10–14-hour days depending on project demands.

Location: Primarily Waterloo Region, with some travel across Southern Ontario.
